Hope Reins

for a better tomorrow

Welcome to the ranch where horses are helping people take life by the reins to bring about hope, healing & change!

Hope Reins is a unique non-profit youth ranch and horse rescue dedicated to serving children, youth and their families who are experiencing some sort of difficulties or trauma in their lives, as well as providing a safe haven to horses rescued by the ranch from abuse and/or neglect.

At the ranch, healing can be found through caring for these neglected or abused horses who are seemingly unwanted, unloved and viewed by society as "damaged goods," as many of these children can relate as events in their lives have left them feeling in such a way that is quite similar.  It is by this unique connection that a bond is formed, creating the stage for a life-long change in a child's life as both the child and the horse teach each other the meaning of unconditional love and renewed trust.

Programs are individualized to best meet the needs of each child and youth attending the ranch.  Director and founder, Cynthia Davis, is certified as EAGALA Level I using Equine Assisted Psychotheraphy (EAP).  Any child who wishes to attend the ranch is always welcome.

Hope Reins believes it has not only the opportunity to reach the children we serve, but also the hearts of our surrounding communities by setting higher standards of the investment in our children today.  It is also goal to give the children and youth served the opportunity to discover and reveal their strengths, talents and interests in making their community a better place through their efforts and accomplishments at the ranch.
